ARAYA'S REFUND, RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY

1. Our Commitment: Value for Every Purchase!

Araya aims to provide value for your investment. Our policy focuses on providing flexibility and encouraging future purchases with us.


Eligibility & Timeframes:


  • General Returns & Exchanges: You have 10 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return or exchange.
  • Damaged/Defective/Incorrect Items: In the rare event you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please notify us with an unboxing video and clear photos within 48 hours of delivery. This allows us to swiftly verify the issue and assist you.

              
​   Conditions for Acceptance

        To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item(s) must meet the following criteria:

  • Unused & Original Condition: Products must be unworn, unwashed, and in their pristine, original condition.
  • All Tags Intact: All original product tags, labels, and packaging (including hangers, polybags, and any special dust bags) must be securely attached and included.
  • No Customer Damage: We cannot accept items that have been used, laundered, altered, or damaged by the customer. A thorough quality check will be performed upon receipt.
  • Original Packaging: Please return the item(s) in their original outer packaging to protect them during transit.


  ​ Return & Exchange Process:

  • Reverse Pick-up: For most locations within India, we offer a convenient reverse pick-up service. A nominal fee of ₹150 will be deducted from your credit note value to cover this service.
  • Self-Ship Option: If reverse pick-up is unavailable in your area, or if you prefer, you may self-ship the item back to us. In such cases, please ensure secure packaging. We recommend using a trackable shipping method. Araya will not be responsible for items lost in transit during self-shipment. We will add a credit of ₹150 to your account to partially cover your shipping costs upon successful quality check.
  • Processing Time: Once we receive your returned item(s) and they pass our quality check, we will process your request within 5-7 business days.

        Exchange Options:

  • Size Exchange: For apparel, we offer a one-time size exchange for the exact same product, style, and color, subject to availability.
  • Product Exchange: If you wish to exchange for a different product, we will issue a credit note (as per our refund policy below) which you can use to purchase the new item within 12 months of issuing the credit note.
  • No Second Exchange: An item that has already been exchanged once is not eligible for further returns or exchanges.

2. Refund Type: Primarily Store Credit

  • For all eligible returns (non-defective, general returns): We will issue a credit note equivalent to the value of the returned item(s), valid for 12 months from the date of issue. This credit note can be used for any future purchase on our website.

3. Monetary Refunds (Limited Cases):

  • Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items: If you receive a product that is genuinely damaged, defective, or incorrect as per your order (verified by unboxing video/photos), and a replacement is not available due to stock limitations, we will offer you a choice between:
  • A credit note (including original shipping charges) with a validity of 12 months from issuing.
  • OR
  • A monetary refund to your bank account in case of online payment. This refund will be processed within 7-10 business days after the item is received and the issue is confirmed.


AND

A credit note of the value of the returned item(s) in case of cod (Cash on Delievery) will be given which will have a validity of 12 months from issuing.


Pre-Shipment Cancellations: If you cancel an order before it has been shipped, a monetary refund will be processed to your original payment method within 7-10 business days.

4. Non-Refundable Items:

* Sale/Discounted Items: Products purchased during sales, promotions, or with discount coupons are generally not eligible for monetary refunds. They are eligible for a size exchange or store credit only.


* Customized/Altered Items: Products that have been customized or altered are not eligible for returns, exchanges, or refunds.


* International Orders: At this time, international orders are typically not eligible for returns, exchanges, or refunds, except in cases of confirmed manufacturing defects (where a replacement or credit note may be considered on a case-by-case basis).

5. Important Notes on Refunds:

  • All refunds are subject to a final quality check upon receipt of the returned item(s).
  • Shipping charges from the original order are generally non-refundable, except in cases of damaged/defective/incorrect items where a monetary refund is issued.
  • The credit note will be sent to the email address used for the purchase.
